With it being November and Thanksgiving just around the corner, this is the month where many start to count and name their blessings; even though we shouldn't just do it in November, we should be more thankful all the time. I thought I would take a minute to list some things I am thankful for. Even though one of my heart's greatest desires is to be pregnant and you may feel that after my last post I am not thankful for anything, I hope that is not the impression I gave. I am a very blessed and gracious person for all the Lord has given me.
1. My salvation - Jesus died for me (and you) what greater thing could either of us ask for. He loves us unconditionally, no matter of our faults and I am truly grateful of that.
2. My 2 loving and Christian parents - I can not even begin to say how much I love and appreciate both of my parents. I could start my very own blog just talking about how amazing both of my parents are. They raised me in a Christian home where I truly learned and felt what true love is. They showed me that by taking me to church and learning about God's love, by making family time quality time and showing me the importance of love in a family, by having a good marriage and showing me the love between husband and wife (to which I thank for helping me have the amazing relationship I have with Jason), by being hard workers and showing me the love of having a job. My parents have always put my brother and I first in their lives and have always made sure we have everything we ever needed and for them, I will be eternally grateful. I love you mom & dad!
3. My ever so wonderful husband - he truly is my other half and also my "better" half. Jason completes me, everything I am not, he is and vice versa. He has been my sounding board and really keeps me calm when I need it the most. He has the utmost patience of an angel and face it, you need it to be with me : ) He is an amazing husband, worker, daddy to our dogs and I can not wait to see him with our children some day because I know he will be an awesome dad! I love you more than anything babe!
4. My best friend Sarah - Jason always says I have too many favorites or bests, haha and he's probably right. I have a lot of love to give, LOL but Sarah has been in my life longer than any other friend. We have been best friends for, I believe 23 years. Now we may not be as close as we once were (we shared the same back yard and literally used to dress alike to the point people thought we were twins and we probably didn't try to tell them otherwise) but our friendship always remains the same, even if we go months without talking. I feel that we have a relationship given to us from God because whenever I need her the most, she just so happens to call or send me an email. Yesterday, I needed her in a big way and she called me. She has the most calming voice and is an excellent listener and she did just that for me yesterday. Thank you so much Sarah..I love you too!
There is so much more I am thankful for that I could literally sit and write all day long: My family, my dogs, my job, my house, my health, my friends, my past and all the things I have been able to do in my life thus far, and believe it or not, I am also thankful for my infertility journey because I have learned a lot about myself and I know there is a reason the Lord has me on this path, even though I may not know yet.

you made me cry!
